ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
August 18, 1958
The town board met in special session to settle the following matters.
Attendance: \[Not listed\]
First the matter of house trailers being parked for home use. Clarence Kliewer and James Wirtz both
have the same. The town code calls for only 90 days. It was suggested by Morris Wilson that this be
changed to one year. It was voted to give James Wirtz and Clarence Kliewer one year to park their
trailers in the township by permit. This goes for all who intend to build in a year. It was decided to
print special permits for trailers.
Mr. Horkely appeared before the board to see what can be done to correct the situation between
himself and Mr. Christenson. It was decided he would give Mr. Christenson a written permission to
build that close.
Meeting adjourned.
