ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
May 15, 1961
A special meeting was called by the chairman Earl Schulke.
Attendance: \[Not listed\]
The purpose was to meet with the contractors Mr. Thayer and Merlin Wistor to get their bids on the
proposed road from Howard Wakefield to the Meadowvale road.
Both Gentlemen were present to give us their bids. Slope easements were secured from those
affected by the road. The bids were as follows. Both bids were so near equal that both Men agreed
to work together. See attached bills.
