ELK RIVER TOWN BOARD MEETING
December 4, 1961
The Town of Elk River met in regular session.

The first order of Business was a meeting with Mr. Oscar Bornt also Al Elner & Elwym Hamlett.
The Purpose of the meeting was to decide if the Town road could be raised to the level of the state
highway. It was decided to hold a meeting at the sight \[sic\] of the road to decide the grade levels.

Meeting to be at 1 o’clock Saturday Dec 9. Next order of business Merlin Wicktor and Mr. Thayer
presented their bills for the remainder of the Work on the road from County road 77 to the
Meadowvale road.
