Background/Discussion
The updated preliminary plat of Miske Meadows was approved on January 16, 2018, and included a total
of 385 buildable parcels. The current area to be platted includes 45 single-family homes on lots ranging
between 65 and 75 feet wide. The plat is located in the southeast corner of the 1Vliske Meadows
subdivision and includes a new connection to Cleveland Street.
The plat includes the third and final connection for the 1Vliske Meadow's subdivision to Cleveland Street,
but the current limits of the plat do not connect to the rest of the subdivision to the west. This phase will
be a stand-alone area at the time of construction, but will connect to the rest of Miske Meadows and, at
full build-out, to Twin Lakes Estates further to the west.
POWERED 6T
A IR
The current phase is part of a larger subdivision and temporary dead-end streets are permitted under city
code. However, to address potential resident concerns, staff has included a condition that the current
terminus of Twin Lakes Parkway be signed to clearly state it will be a future through street.
Financial Impact
None
