CITY OF ELK RIVER
RESOLUTION NO 95-36
A RESOLUTION GRANTING A SIX MONTH EXTENSION
TO A MORATORIUM ON SUBDMSIONS WITHIN CERTAIN
AREAS OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council adopted Ordinance No 94-7 establishing a
moratorium on the approval of certain subdivisions within certain areas of the City
pending completion of the process of updating the City of Elk River Comprehensive Plan;
and
WHEREAS, the process of updating the City of Elk River Comprehensive Plan is
not yet complete; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that a six (6) month extension of the
moratorium adopted in Ordinance No. 94-7 is necessary to preserve the integrity of the
Comprehensive planning process.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River that the term of the moratorium established by the City Council in Ordinance No.
94- 7 is extended for six (6) additional months.
