VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 16, 1939
A special meeting of the council was held Monday Jan 16, 1939 at Caley’s Hdwr Store.
Members present:
Frank Nickerson, Pres.; G.A. Bailey and Geo Cornelius, Trustees; Wm H Greupner,
Clerk
The purpose of this meeting was to decide if the Village Council should appropriate $50.00 for the
maintenance of the skating rink at the stadium.
After some discussion it was decided that the Village had payed out a lot of money the past year for
the upkeep of the swimming pool and though that the skating rink should be taken care of thru the
school.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
