A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE ASSESSMENT RATE
FOR STREET AND STORM SEWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
WHEREAS, the City has adopted a revised assessment manual on March 6. 1989, which
requires assessment rates for street and storm sewer improvements be established
by resolution; and
WHEREAS. the City last increased the assessment rates over two years ago; and
\VHEREAS. the assessment rates have been determined to need to be increased to offset rises
in construction costs;
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Elk River City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota:
1.
The street assessment rate for residentially zoned property shall be $30 per
assessable front foot and commercial, industrial, and all other zanings shaH
be $35 per assessable front foot.
2. The lateral stonn sewer assessment rate shall be $12 per assessable front
foot.
