An Ordinance Amending Chapter 46, Nuisances, of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota, City Code
The City Council of the City of Elk River does hereby ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That § 46-34 (a) (8), Public Nuisances Affecting Peace and Safety, of the City of Elk
River Code of Ordinances shall be amended to read as follows:
(8) Sidewalks that are not kept free of snow and ice during normal business hours in
commercial and industrial zoned districts and within 24 48 hours after a snowfall within
residential zoned districts.
SECTION 2. That § 46-86 (a), Penalties, of the City of Elk River Code of Ordinances shall be
amended to read as follows:
(a) Any violation of this section is a misdemeanor, unless determined to be a pets y
misdemeanor by the citypunishable in accordance with state law.
SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption and be published as provided by
law.
