RESOLUTION 94-41
A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE EXPANSION OF THE
ELK RIVER PUBLIC LIBRARY
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River has been working on plans for an
expansion of the Elk River Public Library; and
WHEREAS, the City has arranged financing for the project; and
WHEREAS, Eos Architecture has advertised for bids for the construction
of the expansion of the Elk River Public Library; and
WHEREAS, on April 28, 1994, EO$ Architecture received and opened 7
bids for the expansion of the Elk River Public Library; and

WHEREAS, Eos Architecture has reviewed all bids and is recommending
awarding the contract to RUE Contractors, Inc.; Watkins,
Minnesota as the low responsible bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City
of Elk River that it hereby approves an award of contract and
notice to proceed to RUE Contractors, Inc., of Watkins,
Minnesota, for the amount of $443,697.00 for the
construction of the expansion of the Elk River Public Library
as per the bidding documents dated March 31st 1994
contingent upon the execution and receipt of all required
bonds and insurance.
Passed and adopted by the Elk River City Council this 2nd day of May, 1994.
