VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
April 17, 1940
A special meeting was held at Caley’s store on April 17, 1940 to act on the non intoxicating malt
liquor licenses of D.P. Christian. A motion was made by Frank Nickerson seconded by Geo
Cornelius to allow D.P. Christian an on and off sale license.
A motion was made by Frank Nickerson seconded by Geo Cornelius to allow James Christian a
license to operate a popcorn stand on the north side of the Village park. The license fee to be $15.00
for one year. Motion carried.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
