VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
June 17, 1940
A special meeting of the Council was held Monday, June 17, 1940 at 8 o’clock P.M. at the Municipal
Bldg
Members present:
M.C. Tesch, Pres.; Geo Cornelius and Frank Nickerson, Trustees; Wm H Greupner,
Clerk
The purpose of this meeting was to take care of the following relief clients.
James Lero – was allowed $10.00 for groceries for two weeks.
Mr. Davies reported about Mrs. Eva Hemming’s baby and said he had placed it in a home at Big
Lake with Mrs. Wilbert Fredrickson at $15.00 a month. It was decided to issue a relief order to Mrs.
Wilbert Fredrickson for $15.00.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
