VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
October 21, 1940
A meeting of the Council was held Monday Oct 21, 1940 at 8 o’clock P.M. at the Municipal Bldg.
Members present:
M.C. Tesch, Pres; G.A. Bailey, Geo Cornelius, Trustees; Wm H Greupner, Clerk
The minutes of last meetings were read and approved.
Two letters were read from Mrs. Eva Henning asking that the Village send her two dollars for
personnel use. A motion was made by G.A. Bailey seconded by Geo Cornelius to send Eva Henning
the $2.00.
A motion was made by Geo Cornelius and Wm Greupner to allow John Kramer an off and on sale
non intoxicating malt liquor license at Bares Café.
A motion was made by Wm Greupner seconded by G.A. Bailey to allow John Wagner an off sale
non intoxicating malt liquor license.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
