VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
November 4, 1940
The regular meeting of the Village Council was held at the Municipal Bldg Monday Nov 4, 1940 at 8
o’clock P.M.
Members present:
M.C. Tesch, Pres; G.A. Bailey, Geo Cornelius, Frank Nickerson, Trustees; Wm H
Greupner, Clerk
The minutes of last meetings were read and approved.
Ted Waite came before the Council and asked if he could get a relief order to pay his taxes but was
told that the council would help him sell some wood that he has for sale and thereby he could take
care of his taxes himself.
Art Leger presented an application to operate two pool tables at his place of business. After a
discussion a motion was made by G.A. Bailey seconded by Frank Nickerson to grant this license
upon roll call ayes-G.A. Bailey , Frank Nickerson
