VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
June 15, 1939
A special meeting of the council was held Monday June 15, 1939 at Caleys Hdwr Store
Members present:
Frank Nickerson, Pres.; G.A. Bailey, Geo Cornelius, and Wm Patenaude, Trustees;
Wm H Greupner, Clerk
The purpose of this meeting was to act on the 3.2 beer license for Art Leger. A motion was made by
Wm Greupner, seconded by Wm Patenaude to grant an on and off sale non intoxicating malt liquor
license to Art Leger for one year. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Geo Cornelius seconded by GA Bailey to grant Lee Bishop a building permit
to build an addition on his butcher shop. Motion carried.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
