VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
December 20, 1939
A special meeting of the council was held Monday Dec 20, 1939 at 8 o’clock P.M.
Members present:
Frank Nickerson, Pres.; G.A. Bailey, Wm Patenaude and Geo Cornelius, Trustees
The purpose of this meeting was to pass on the following resolution.
Resolution
We hereby ask permission and if possible that the Sherburne County Welfare Board take over the
administration of direct relief for the Village of Elk River.
A motion was made by G.A. Bailey seconded by Geo Cornelius to accept this resolution. Motion
carried.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
