A RESOLUTION RENEWING THE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT FOR THE
WRIGHT/SHERBURNE BRIDGE 86515
MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT (1994-1995)
- THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into by and between the City of Elk River hereinafter referred to as
Wlne "City" and the County of Wright hereinafter referred to as the "County..
WHEREAS, it is deemed to the best interest of all parties that the duties and responsibilities of both the City and
the County as to maintenance on Bridge #86515 and its approaches should be clearly defined.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED with regard to said structure maintenance:
MAINTENANCE
CITY RESPONSIBLE FOR:
(1) Maintenance of street lights;
(2) Removal of snow from sidewalk;
(3) Maintenance of slopeslbenns and roadway on nonh approach (includes: rurf maintenance, biruminous
maintenance, drainage and riprap maintenance);
(4) Periodic sweeping to remove sand and debris and removing sand/dirt from expansion joints;
(5) Removal of markings/spray paint etc. from visible surfaces of bridge structure.
COUNTY RESPONSIBLE FOR:
(1) Snow and ice control from bridge and approaches;
(2) Signing for bridge and approaches;
(3) Maintenance of slopeslbenns and roadway on south approach (includes: turf maintenance, bituminous
maintenance, drainage and riprap maintenance);
(4) Centerline and edge pavement marking (includes stop bar).
The agreement between the City and County shall be for a two year period and run from January I, 1994 to
December 31, 1995. Ail maintenance responsibilities will be deemed .offsetting" therefore no payments will be required
for the individual maintenance work which conforms to the areas stated herein and performed under authorization of either
the City or County.
e In the event that the structure needs major maintenance/rehabilitation an agreement detailing the w~rk and shared
costs must be approved a.,ld accepted by the City and County.

EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF A MEETING OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ELK RIVER, MINNESOTA
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular or
special meeting of the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota, was duly held in the Elk River City Hall on June 27,
1994, commencing at 7:00 P.M., C.T., in part for the purpose of
considering the offers which had been received for the purchase
of the City's $255,000 General Obligation Tax Increment Bonds,
Series 19940.
The following Councilmembers were present:
Mayor Duitsman, Councilmembers Dietz, Scheel and Holmgren
and the following were absent:
Councilmember Farber

There was then presented a tabulation of the offers
which had been received in the manner specified in the Terms of
proposal for the Bonds. The offers were as follows:
