Discussion of the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting schedule for 2020
Recommend, by motion, the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting schedule to meet the second
Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm during the year 2020, except for November. The November
meeting will become Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
Background/Discussion
The Parks and Recreation Commission regularly meets the second Wednesday of each month. Staff has
reviewed the Parks and Recreation Commission meeting schedule for 2020 and found one conflict.
The conflict is Wednesday, November 11, 2020, Veterans Day, a federal holiday. Staff is recommending
that the November meeting date become a week later on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.
