A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Scheduling a Public
Hearing for Municipal Consent of the Final Layout for Trunk Highway 10
Reconstruction from Xenia Avenue to 4"' Street and the Trail Construction
from Simonet Drive to Lowell Avenue (S.P. 7102-13S)
WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation has prepared a final layout for State
Project 7102-135 on Trunk Highway 10 from Simonet Drive to Lowell Avenue, within the
City of Elk River for roadway, intersection and non -motorized facility improvements; and
seeks the approval thereof, as described in Minnesota Statutes 161.62 to 161.167; and
WHEREAS, said final layout is on file in the District 3 Minnesota Department of
Transportation office, Baxter, Minnesota, being marked as Layout No. 1, S.P. 7102-135.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows:
1. Said final layout for the improvement of said Trunk Highway within the corporate limited
be and is hereby approved.
2. A public hearing will be held on such improvements at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday January 21,
2020 in the City Council Chambers at 13065 Orono Parkway and the City Clerk shall give
mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
