Councilmember Westgaard introduced the following resolution and moved its
adoption:
City of Elk River
City Council
Resolution 20- 4
A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Acknowledging
Contributions
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River is grateful to all civic groups, organizations, and
individuals for their contributions to the community; and
WHEREAS, the City of Elk River received a $2,000 donation from Zimmerman Fire
Department Relief Association with the intent $1,000 be used by Parks and Recreation
Department for Scholarships and $1,000 be used by the Fire Department for safety
equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council, by at least four-fifths
vote, to acknowledge the support and commend $2,000 for their donation.
The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember
Ovall , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Christianson, Westgaad, Ovall, aid Wagner
and the following against: none , whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
The followin members were present: Mayor Dietz, Councilmembers Christianson,
Westgaary, Ovall, and Wagner
and the following absent: none
