Continue the public hearings for Phase II of Copart's Salvage Yard development until February 3, 2020.
Background/Discussion
The applicant submitted an updated traffic impact study on January 15, 2020. After staffs initial review
there are concerns with the potential to experience negative impacts at the intersection of Jarvis Street
and Highway 10. Staff requires additional time to thoroughly review the study and confer with MnDOT
about the potential for long-term impacts prior to making a recommendation of approval or denial.
The statutory review period for all three applications ends on February 25, 2020, and City Council will
need to decide all three applications on February 3, 2020, to ensure all deadlines are met.
