A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Elk River Approving the Final
Layout for Trunk Highway 10 Reconstruction from Xenia Avenue to 4th
Street and the Trail Construction from Simonet Drive to Lowell Avenue
(S.P. 7102-135)
WHEREAS, a resolution passed by the City Council on December 16, 2019 called for a
public hearing on the proposed final layout for State Project (S.P.) 7102-135 (Trunk
Highway 10 Reconstruction) from Simonet Drive to Lowell Avenue; and
WHEREAS, published notice was given pursuant to Minnesota Statute 161.164, and a
notice of public hearing was published in the city's legal paper and the hearing was held
thereon on January 21, 2020, at which time all person desiring to be heard were given an
opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk
River, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The final layout for the Trunk Highway 10 Reconstruction (S.P. 7102-135) from
Simonet Drive to Lowell Avenue is hereby approved.
2. The improvements for S.P. 7102-135 will be funded by MnDOT and the city per
current MnDOT cost split policy and federal aid guidelines.
