92-010 RES . . . RESOLUTION 92 - JlO RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ELECTION JUDGES FOR THE PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY TO BE HELD APRIL 7, 1992 WHEREAS, there will be a local Presidential Primary held on April 7, 1992; and, WHEREAS, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 204B.21(2) the City Council shall appoint election judges for four wards within the City; and, WHEREAS, all election jUdges appointed by the City Council are qualified to be trained election judges and will be certified by the County Auditor as trained election judges. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River, Minnesota, that the following persons be appointed as election judges to serve at the Presidential Primary: Gloria Stricker Dorothy Jackson Evelyn Donais Pat Brenteson Florence Greer Martha DeRosier Judy Lefebvre Florence Schuldt Lola Driessen Judy Brenteson Astrid McBeath Linda Lee Bev Barsody Alice Heinecke BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following appointed election judges shall serve as chief judges at the Presidential Primary: Gloria Hinkle (Ward 1) Minnie Brady (Ward 2) Jeanne Eggert (Ward 3) Marge Kampa (Ward 4) Margaret Davis (Registration) BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said "Election Judges" shall be paid at the rate of $5.50 per hour and said "Chief Judges" shall be paid at the rate of $6.50 per hour for hours spent in training and hours worked during the Presidential Primary.
