A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTE AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF THE
PHASE I - WESTERN AREA OBSERVATION WELL IMPROVEMENT OF 1992
WHEREAS. pursuant to Resolution 91-73. the Project Engineer has analyzed
the existing site conditions and has found it necessary to
construct an observation well prior to preparation of construction
documents for a municipal production well; and
WHEREAS. construction cost Quotations were solicited and received for the
observation well installation as set forth in the bid tabulation
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and
WHEREAS. the City Council has considered the amount of the construction
Quotes and the responsibility of the bidders and determined that
E.H. Renner & Sons. Inc. is the iowest responsible bidder;
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River.
Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized and directed to
execute. on behalf of the City. such contract with E.H. Renner & Sons.
Inc. as is approved by the City Attorney for the completion of the
observation well improvement.
Passed and adopted this 2nd day of March. 1992.
