RESOLUTION 92 - 31
RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION DETERMINING THE POLLING LOCATIONS FOR VOTING
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
WHEREAS, the Elk River City Council adopted Ordinance 92-10
which redistricts the City's four wards to allow for
population to be as equal as practicable in each of
the four wards; and,
WHEREAS, the City has divided the wards into precincts in order
to accommodate the congressional district line that
runs through the City of Elk River; and,
WHEREAS, new polling places have been determined by the Elk
River City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the polling locations for
the City of Elk River are as follows:
MEADOWVALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - Ward 1, Precinct 1
. 12701 Elk Lake Road Ward 2, Precinct 1
ELK RIVER SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL - Ward 3, Precinct 1
900 School Street Ward 3, Precinct 2
Ward 2, Precinct 2
LINCOLN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL - Ward 4, Precinct 1
600 School Street Ward 4, Precinct 2
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that each precinct
voting in the same location as other precincts will be
distinctly separated from the other precincts, and there will
be a separate group of election judges serving each precinct.
Passed and adopted by the City Council pf the City of Elk River
this 20th day of April, 1992.
