VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
March 31, 1941
A special meeting of the Village Council was held at the Municipal Bldg on March 31, 1941 at 3:00
P.M.
Members present:
M.C. Tesch, Pres; Frank Nickerson, E.L. Shadick, and G.A. Bailey, Trustees; J.
Clinton Walker, Clerk
Applications for 3.2 Beer Licenses were of Walter Johnson and Joseph A Johnson were read.
A motion was made by E.L. Shadick and seconded Frank Nickerson to grant Walter Johnson off
and on sale 3.2 beer licenses. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Frank Nickerson and seconded by Clinton Walker to grant Joseph A.
Johnson an off and on sale beer license and a pinball machine license. Motion carried.
A representative of the firm Juran Moody and Rice was present at the meeting. He presented a
resolution for adoption by the Council authorizing the issuance of $35,000.00 of Sewer Revenue
Bonds. The Council studied the resolution and referred it back to Mr. Moody for a change in the call
date of the bonds.
No further business. Meeting adjourned.
