VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
October 20, 1941
A regular meeting was held at the Municipal Bldg on October 20, 1941 at 7:30 P.M.
Members present:
M.C. Tesch, Pres; Frank Nickerson, E.L. Shadick, and G.A. Bailey, Trustees; J.
Clinton Walker, Clerk
A motion was made by Frank Nickerson and seconded by G.A. Bailey granting Emil Beaufield Jr. a
permit to build a frame house on his lot 3 block 4 W.H. Houlton addition.
A motion was made by G.A. Bailey and seconded by Clinton Walker granting John M. Kramer an
off and on sale non intoxicating malt liquor license.
A motion was made by Frank Nickerson and seconded by E.L. Shadick granting John M. Kramer a
Pin ball machine license.
A motion was made by G.A. Bailey and seconded by E.L. Shadick allowing the following bills:
Jerry Sykes – labor 32.80
Kenneth Ranney – labor 33.20
Hershel Putman – labor 39.20
J.E. Hambolt – labor 46.35
Herman Marohn – labor 42.00
Alden Taylor – labor 41.20
W.L. Peppen – labor 41.20
No further business. Meeting adjourned.
