A RFBOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF ELK RIVER
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING
EXECUTION OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF THE
T.R. 169/MAIN STREET INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT
OF 1992
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 92-29, competitive bids were solicited and received for the
T.H. 169/Main Street Intersection improvement as set forth in the bid tabulation
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the amount of the bids and the responsibility of the
bidders and determined that G.M.H. Asphalt Corp. is the lowest responsible bidder;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Elk River,
Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and City Administrator are authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the
City, such contract with G.M.H. Asphalt Corp. as is approved by the City Attorney for the
completion of the T.H. 169/Main Street intersection improvement accordmg to the
approved plans and specifications designated in Resolution 92-29.
The Notice of Award shall state that the Notice to Proceed will be conditioned on obtaining
right of entry for the easement areas. This may delay the completion of the project.

3. The City Administrator is authorized and directed to forthwith return to all bidders, the
deposits made with their bids upon execution of the contract above specified.
