VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
April 18, 1935
A special meeting of the Village Council was held at the Municipal Bldg Thursday April 18, 1935 at
4 o’clock P.M.
Members present:
D.E. Davis, Pres.; Geo. Cornelius, Wm Patenaude, Trustees;
Wm H Greupner, Clerk.
Frank White, Village Attorney, came to this meeting and stated that Frank Dehn Attorney for Mrs
Margaret Johnson, had been in to see him and was willing to make a settlement with the Village for
$300.00 and Mrs Johnson would pay her own Doctor Bills for the injuries suffered by reason of
defect on sidewalk in front of Babcock Bldg. After a lengthy discussion a motion was made by Wm
Greupner seconded by Geo. Cornelius to pay Mrs Johnson $300.00 for injuries suffered by reason
of defect on sidewalk in front of Babcock Bldg.
