Chas Bade being present apoke about the back lot of Mrs. Folsoms property saying that if it could be purchased at a reasonable figure. It would be possible to make the swimming pool larger and also have a bathhouse built. He thought the property could be bought for about $25.00 and he was quite sure the Commcial Club would donate $100.00 and the Community Club $50.00 which would leave only $100.00 for the Village to spend for the land. It was the council’s opinion that they would be in favor of this if it could be carried out as planned. Chas Nelson asked for a 110 wire to be put in the pump house as the 220 there now is dangerous. A motion was made by Geo Cornelius seconded by Wm Greupner and carried to have these wires installed. Now that the Village Park is planted with a lot of shrubbery it is more work than Mr. Nelson can take care of. Donald Davis reported that Mr. Keays would take care of it for $10.00 a month.
