VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
September 25, 1935
Due to the fact that Mr. Elias Nelson Village Marshall had his leg broken in an accident it was found
necessary to call a meeting to hire some one to work in his place.
Several applicants were considered. Geo McBridge being out of work and thought satisfactory for
the job. A motion was made by J.D. Flaherty, seconded by Wm Greupner and carried to hire Geo
McBridge as Temporary Marshall until Mr. Nelson is able to work again.
It was also decided to have Dan Hjerpe take care of the Water Pump during this time.
No further business meeting adjourned.
