VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
January 17, 1936
The special meeting of the Village Council was held at Caleys Hdwe store Friday January 17, 1936 at
10:00 o’clock P.M.
Members present:
J.D. Flaherty, Pres.; Geo Cornelius, G.A. Bailey, Wm Patenaude, Trustees;
Wm H Greupner, Clerk.
Ray Hermanson, Oscar Swanson, Joe Meiske came before the council at this time asking for an
approval whereas they could receive relief. A motion was made by Wm Patenaude seconded by Geo
Cornelius recommending relief for the above named persons. J.D. Flaherty, mayor appointed Wm
Patenaude and Wm Greupner as a relief committee to take care of all requests for relief in the
future.
No further business meeting adjourned.
