VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
July 12, 1936
The special meeting of the Village Council was held at the Municipal Bldg July 12, 1936 at 2:30
o’clock P.M.
Members present:
J.D. Flaherty, Pres.; G.A. Bailey, Geo Cornelius, Wm Patenaude, Trustees;
Wm H Greupner, Clerk.
The purpose of this meeting was to decide if the Village wanted to go ahead with the curb and
sidewalk project under the W.P.A. A motion was made by Geo Cornelius seconded by G.A. Bailey
to work on three blocks and see how it would work out. The three blocks are the court house block
known as Oak Street between Depot and Main St. The block on Thomas Street between Lyon and
Depot Street and the block on High Street between Lyon and Depot Street. Motion carried.
No further business meeting adjourned.
