VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
June 9, 1938
The special meeting of the Village Council was held at the Municipal Building Thursday June 9, 1938
at 8 o’clock P.M.
Members present:
Frank Nickerson, Pres.; G.A. Bailey, Wm Patenaude, Geo Cornelius, Trustees;
Wm H Greupner, Clerk.
The purpose of this meeting was to act on the application of Leslie Leighton and Edward Gammon
for an on and off sale non intoxicating malt liquor license, a pool table and bowling alley license and
a pin ball machine license.
A motion was made by Gm Greupner, seconded by G.A. Bailey to allow Leslie Leighton and
Edward Gammon an “on and off” sale non intoxicating malt liquor license.
A motion was made by Wm H Greupner seconded by Wm Patenaude to allow Leslie Leighton and
Edward Gammon license to operate pool tables and bowling alleys.
A motion was made by Wm Patenaude seconded by Geo Cornelius to grant a license to Leslie
Leighton and Edward Gammon to operate a pin ball machine.
No further business meeting adjourned.
