VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
August 24, 1959
A special meeting was held at the Village Hall on Aug 24, 1959 for the purpose of opening bids for
the construction of the Sewage Disposal Plant. The engineers from Carter, Krueger and Associates
were present.
Members present:
Henry Johnson, Mayor; G.R Bergerson, August Meyer, R.G. Kemper, Trustees; H.A.
Briggs, Clerk
Three bids were received:
Rooter and Johnson for Sections B, C, and D $37,214.20
Barbarossa and Sons Total bid $165,413.50
Action Cost Co Total Bid $187,560.16
Lysne Const Co – total bid $156,527.50
The engineers took charge of the bids for tabulation.
Meeting adjourned.
