VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
October 7, 1959
A special meeting was held at the Village Hall for the purpose of canvassing the results of the bons
election.
Members present:
Henry Johnson, Mayor; August Meyer, R.G. Kemper, Trustees; H.A. Briggs, Clerk
Results of the election were
For Sewer Disposal bond 142
Against 6
Upon motion by Bergerson and second by Kemper the report of the election board was accepted.
Mr. Ralph Stewart of the North Central Natural Gas Co was present also Mr. John Halverson of the
Orangeberg Mfg Co. There was a discussion about plastic pipe and if it could be used instead of iron
pipe for gas installations. It was decided that it needed further investigation.
