1.0 CALL MEETING TO ORDER
The special meeting of the Utilities Commission was called to order at 2:30 p.m. by Chair Dietz.
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
2.0 OATH OF OFFICE
Ms. Canterbury administered the oath of office for Utilities Commissioners Al Nadeau and
Matt Westgaard.
2.0 ANNUAL COMMISSIONER ORIENTATION
Mr. Adams provided an overview of the commissioner orientation and the agenda items to be
covered.
Ms. Nelson provided a SmartHub demonstration and walked through current features of the
site. She also touched on additional features that could be utilized once Advanced Metering
Infrastructure (AMI) is implemented.

Attorney Beck reviewed the one
employee. There was discussion.
Ms. Canterbury provided updated copies of the governance policies that had changed since
the last orientation, including those that had moved over to the commission policy manual as a
result of the Policy Manual Initiative. She also presented updates and additions to the
Commission Reference Guide on the following:

4.0 ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, Chair Dietz adjourned the special meeting of the Utilities
Commission at 3:16 p.m.
