DISCUSSION:
Much of my time since mid-March has been with COVID-19 information and response,
and not much has been normal. However, it has been remarkable to watch everyone
doing whatever it takes to accomplish the necessary tasks and working together in this
time of crisis.
We received an eDocket request from the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission
requesting our utility stance on three specific consumer protections they were
requesting during this peacetime emergency. ERMU had already implemented all three
of the protections they were requesting (restricting disconnection, waive late fees, and
make payment arrangements); our letter response is attached.
Other items have been working with the audit, the rate study, and our renewal for
property and casualty insurances.
