DISCUSSION:
Staff has been working with Wright County engineers on theCounty State-Aid Highway
(CSAH) 39 roundabouts and road improvements from Parish Avenue to west of O’Dean
Avenue. There is a preconstructionmeeting on April15.
Staff has been working with Sherburne County engineers on CSAH 1 and CSAH 12
projects. The CSAH 1reconstructionis scheduledto start June 1. The plans for the
reconstruction of CSAH 12 are still being finalized.
Staff has been working with MNDOT on the reconstruction and improvement of
Highway 10 that is slated to be completed in 2021. With this project, staff has been
working with city engineers on the new trail lighting between Simonet Drive and Lowell
Avenue.
Staff is coordinating plans for the leachate pipeline project, which includes installing
st
three phase underground primary line next to the city trail, from 221 Avenue to the
landfill site. We will also be rebuilding the electric infrastructure on the west side of the
landfill. With this installation, the landfill electric underground service will be looped,
making it possible to backfeed power if we experience a fault in the primary
underground line.
Staff has been experiencing longer lead times for materials they have on order for
upcoming projects.
