VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
April 19, 1960
A special meeting was held at the Village Hall on April 19, 1960 for the purpose of opening bids on
grading, curb and sidewalk at the remodeled liquor store.
Members present:
Henry Johnson, Mayor; August Meyer, R.G. Kemper, G.R. Bergerson, Trustees;
H.A. Briggs, Clerk
There were six bids received, four for grading and black top and two for sidewalk and curb.
For grading and black top:
Clarence Landwehr 7851.00
B. Veit and Co 6707.50
C.S. McCrossan Co 9338.00
For sidewalk and curb
Willard Johnson 1375.00
C.S. McCrossan Co 4250.00
A motion was made by Kemper and seconded by Briggs to accept bids of B. Veit and Co. and
Willard Johnson these being the lowest bids. Carried.
