11-14-1960 VCM Special VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING November 14, 1960 A special meeting was held at Village Hall on November 14, 1960. Members present: Henry Johnson, Mayor; R.G. Kemper, G.A. Bergerson, August Meyer, Trustees; H.A. Briggs, Clerk The purpose of this meeting was to consider the bills and contracts relating to the Liquor Store Building. Those present: Frederick H. Morse, Architect and Willard Johnson, General Contractor. Mr. Mosse will advise the Council as to the amount still to be paid on each contract. The balance of contract with Willard Johnson was paid in full. Meeting adjourned. H.A. Briggs Village Clerk STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF SHERBURNE TREASURER’S RECEIPT AND CERTIFICATE I, E. DALE PALMER, being the duly qualified and acting Treasurer of the Village of Elk River, Minnesota, hereby certify and acknowledge that on the date of this instrument I receive from JURAN & MOODY, INC., of St. Paul, Minnesota, the purchase price of $7000 Municipal Building Revenue Bonds of said Village dated September 1, 1960, bearing interest at the rates as noted below, said purchase price being computed as follows: Par Value 7000.00 Premium 10.88 Accrued Interest from September 1, 1960, to date hereof, @ 4.25% 63.63 Accrued Interest from October 1, 1960, to date hereof, @ 1.75% 15.99 Total, 7090.50 And that I thereupon delivered said bonds to said purchaser. th Witness my hand officially as such Treasurer this 18 day of November, 1960.
