VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
February 17, 1947
On Feb 17, 1947 an informal meeting of the Village Council was held at Zimmerman with the
Village Council of that place. After discussion regarding light and power business the Elk River
Council agreed to recommend new street lights for Zimmerman. Also change the charge for the
liquor sign on the highway so there would be a flat rate. Members present: Davidson, Leger and
Briggs.
