VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
February 19, 1947
A special meeting was held at the Municipal Bldg on February 19, 1947 for the purpose of opening
bids for the Light and Power plant and the sewage disposal plant.
Members present:
Mayor Glenn Davidson, Elmer Leger, R.A. Ellingson; H.A. Briggs, Clerk
For the reason that the bids on the sewage disposal plant were two high and motion was made by
Ellingson and seconded by Leger that all bids be rejected. Motion carried.
The Kebne Electric Co of St Paul, Minn submitted the lowest bid for the electrical work and s___
board for the power plant. Upon motion by Leger and second by Ellingson the contract was
awarded to the Kebne Electric Co at $40,140.00. All members voting aye.
The council decided to postpone the awarding of the contract for the power plant building until Feb
21, 1947 at 4 P.M.
A record of all bidders and amount of bids is filed with the village clerk.
Meeting adjourned.
