VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
May 19, 1947
A special meeting was held at the Municipal Bldg on May 19, 1947 for the purpose of opening bids
for the village lots as advertised.
Morris Wilson – bid $700 plus sewer tax
Lester Rootes bid $800 with provision that he would not pay sewer tax
Morris Wilson awarded the lots as his was the higher bid considering the tax.
Meeting adjourned.
