VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
August 29, 1947
A special meeting was held at the Municipal Bldg on August 29, 1947.
Members present:
Mayor Glenn Davidson, Elmer Leger, Walter L Johnson, R.A. Ellingson, Trustees
Gordon Barbarossa was present at the meeting and the matter of finishing the sewer was discussed.
He promised to let the council know by Sept 2, regarding the work.
A motion by Leger and second by Johnson to advertise for bids for a car suitable for police patrol
work. The motion carried all voting in favor.
A motion was made by Johnson and seconded by Leger that the village arrange to employ two
police officers. Motion carried.
R.A. Ellingson acted as clerk in the absence of the regular clerk.
Meeting adjourned.
