VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
February 23, 1948
A special meeting was held at the Municipal Building on Feb 23, 1948.
Members present:
Oscar Odegard, Mayor; Elmer Leger, Dan Bailey, R.A. Ellingson, Trustees; H.A.
Briggs, Clerk
The meeting was called for the purpose of considering the repair or replacement of the bar and back
bar damaged by the recent fire. A representative of the Paule Company gave the Council
information on the cost and material used in a new bar with a trade in proposition on the old bar.
He promised to write in a few days out___ing his complete proposition.
A motion was made by Ellingson and seconded by Briggs to transfer $2000.00 from the Liquor
Fund to the Sewer Fund.
Meeting adjourned.
