VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
June 7, 1948
A regular meeting was held at the Municipal Building on June 7, 1948.
Members present:
Oscar Odegard, Mayor; Elmer Leger, Dan Bailey, R.A. Ellingson, Trustees
Roy Ellingson acted as clerk in the absence of H.A. Briggs.
The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved.
A motion was made by Leger and seconded by Ellingson to transfer $1500.00 from the Liquor Fund
to the Sewer Fund. Carried.
Harley Rohlf appeared and asked for rescinding the ban on drinking 3.2 beer at taverns in Elk River.
The entire council agreed provided it meets with the approval of the village Marshall.
