VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
February 4, 1949
A special meeting was held at the Municipal Building on Feb 4, 1949.
Members present:
Emil Parent, Dan Bailey, Trustees; H.A. Briggs, Clerk
The purpose of the meeting was to confer with our attorneys in the Barbarossa case.
Also attorney Barker of the firm of Dorsey, Colman, Barker, Scott and Barber, Mr. Dare of Ernst
and Ernst, V.B. Skellenger, Elmer Leger and Howard Wakefield, Village Attorney. After some
discussion it was decided that more information was necessary as to the present inventory of sewer
material and the amount of work needed to finish the Barbarossa Contract. It was decided to ask
Less Derr to secure this information before anything further could be done.
Meeting adjourned.
