VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
October 1, 1951
A special meeting was held at the Municipal Building on Oct 1, 1951.
Members present:
R. A. Ellingson, Mayor; Emil Parent, Dan Bailey, Trustees; H.A. Briggs, Clerk
Mr. A.D.W. Johnson and Ben Roper met with the Council and there was considerable discussion
regarding the new Walker Addition Revised. A motion was made by Bailey and seconded by Parent
that the village agree to put in sewer in the addition with hired labor not to exceed $6304.80. Motion
carried.
Following levy was made for 1952:
General Fund 10,000.00
Poor Fund 500.00
Road and Bridge 6000.00
Library Fund 1400.00
Band 2 mills
The following bills were approved and ordered paid:
