VILLAGE OF ELK RIVER COUNCIL MEETING
December 19, 1951
A special meeting was held at the Municipal Building on Dec 19, 1951 for the purpose of filling a
vacancy on the Water, Power, and Light Commission.
Members present:
R. A. Ellingson, Mayor; Emil Parent, Dan Bailey, R.A. Ryding, Trustees; H.A. Briggs,
Clerk
After some discussion a motion was made by Parent and seconded by Briggs to appoint Wm
Patenaude Jr a member of the Water, Power and Light Commission for three years beginning Jan 1,
1952. Carried.
Wm McGregor was present and presented a report of the Municipal Liquor Store for Nov 1951.
There was some discussion regarding the Liquor Store business.
Meeting adjourned.
