Discuss the appointment of a Commission member to the City Comprehensive Planning Committee
Recommend, by motion, a Commission member to the City Comprehensive Planning Committee.
Background/Discussion
The Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee should serve as a community sounding board, meeting at key
points along the process to discuss issues and overall planning direction and provide feedback. The consultant
will also use the Parks and Recreation Master Plan adopted in June of 2015 and the 2018 Trails Master Plan to
inform the recommendations within the final document.
Commission Chair Dave Williams has expressed interest in representing the Parks and Recreation Commission.
The Committee should meet about 7-8 times during the next year.
